Mark Lunney is Clairvynt's COO. Prior to that, he spent 21 years as COO of PD&MS Group - an Aberdeen engineering contractor he helped found in 2002 and grew from 4 people to more than 700. Over that period of time, dozens of tenders crossed his desk.
Mark describes the same routine on every bid. The team knew what a strong response needed. A large share of the effort went on pulling the material together: the past submissions most related to the question, relevant procedures, relevant evidence, and current stats. All of it already sat in the company's files. Finding it and assembling it was the slow part.

How the Tender Response Assistant Works
The tender responses assistant indexes your own curated bid library: past tender responses, procedures and processes, project descriptions, compliance and safety statements, and certifications. Upload your pre-qualification questionnaire or invitation to tender questions, and it searches the whole library, drafts an answer from the passages that are judged to be relevant, and attaches a citation to every claim.
Each citation names the source document, the page it came from, and the text it drew on. A reviewer can open the source and check a claim in roughly the time it takes to read it. Where your library can't support an answer, the assistant flags the gap for a person to fill. It won't invent an answer the documents don't support.
A bid manager still reads, edits and approves every answer before it goes near a submission. Which project to lead with and which details to push. The difference is that the person making them now has all the data at their fingertips and a strong draft response from the start.
The Tender Response Assistant is deployed and live with an EPC contractor.
