Separate environments
Each client runs in its own environment with dedicated databases and search indexes.
Built in Aberdeen
Our leadership team has spent decades in energy operations, engineering and software. We build tools that work from your own procedures, tenders and project records, and your team reviews every result before anything is used.
Synapse maps your management system to the organisation you actually have. Your team reviews each change and decides who owns it now.
Read the North Sea operator case study
ClairBid drafts answers to tender and pre-qualification questions from your past bids, procedures and project records. Each answer shows its sources, so your team can check and edit it before submission.
Drafts construction procedures from engineering drawings and project records, with the source references kept for your engineers to review.
An engineer works with your team on one recurring workflow. Together we agree what the tool should do, which information it can access and where a person reviews or approves its work, then build and test it with you.
The same permits, procedures and work packs, offshore and onshore, in oil and gas and in renewables.
Your documents are never used to train shared models.

Company updates and applied AI work from live projects.
Clairvynt is a software company in Aberdeen, Scotland. We build AI tools for energy and renewables teams whose work depends on procedures, tenders and project records. Our products are Synapse and ClairBid. ClairWork is in development, and we also build custom tools for other document-heavy work.
Our tools work from the documents you agree to include, such as your procedures, past tenders and project records. Synapse shows the exact source text behind each result, and ClairBid cites the document and page behind each answer, so your team can check them. Each client runs in a separate environment, and client documents are never used to train shared or public models. Your team reviews every result before it is used.
Clairvynt was founded by Andrew Mackay (CEO) and Mark Lunney (COO). Andrew has 30 years in energy, renewables and engineering services. Mark spent 18 years as COO of PD&MS Group, growing it from 4 to more than 700 people. Alex Cormier, Head of Product, leads product and Clairvynt's technical and operational security.
Energy and renewables organisations, including North Sea operators and engineering contractors. Synapse mapped safety-critical responsibilities to roles for a North Sea operator.
No. Synapse finds the responsibilities in your documents, links each one to a role where the text supports it, and shows the source text. A reviewer on your team proposes any change of owner, and the document owner approves it. Synapse then lists the approved changes by document, for each owner to make in their own documents.
Client documents and data are never used to train shared or public models. Each client runs in a separate environment with its own databases and search indexes, and data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Clairvynt is Cyber Essentials Plus certified.
Tell us what you are working on through the contact form. For Synapse, you can start with a focused review of one recent organisational change, such as a restructure or an asset transfer, and the documents that describe it. For other work, an engineer starts with one recurring workflow alongside your team.
